Case Study
Christian Blind Mission
Background
International charity, Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is the largest agency working overseas to cure and prevent blindness, deafness and other disabilities.
The Problem
Reliant on contributions from 30,000 regular supporters, the donor database is of paramount importance. But with records stored in a paper format, updating and retrieving information was very time-consuming. When the charity moved to a new location it decided to convert to an easy-to-search electronic database.
The Solution
Keen to work with an organisation that empathised with its charitable objectives and provided a high quality level of service, CBM turned to Remploy Offiscope.
After a detailed consultation, the Offiscope team began preparing and high speed scanning 30,000 donor records into a digital format and indexing them into a database for instant retrieval.
The Outcome
Since the solution was installed, the time taken to retrieve documents and the accuracy of donor information has significantly improved.
